Okay, either I've overlooked something massively or I -really- need to read the source material. But I'm not entirely getting the whole reborn-as-another-dude thing, it's alluded to in the Wiki article but there's no clear explanations anywhere...

So how does this work? Does it need mentioning in the history? I've checked a few bios but I can't find anything there either, besides in the alias section.

If you mean how does it work in context, it's a god thing, and the gods do what they want. Trying to explain it logically would make heads explode, because gods. XD

You can mention the past life in the history if you'd like, but I don't require it. Alexandra's profile is a good example of working more of the past life in (Takiko's memories help her with her Japanese, etc). I built Shun with Ayuru Gi's memories as more an underlying foundation without worrying about the specifics. Either tack would work fine.
